Return of the 58th Motorized Infantry Brigade

Soldiers of the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade were congratulated by the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Stepan Poltorak upon their return to peaceful land.

After eight months of successful carrying-out of assigned missions in the area of ​​ Joined Forces Operation, the 58th separate motorized infantry brigades returned to Konotop.

Stepan Poltorak, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, arrived to welcome the solders on the peaceful land.

For their courage and heroism, professionalism and devotion to the oath, the soldiers were awarded with badges, valuable gifts and honorary weapons. In addition, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine announced the allotment of more than 4 million hryvnia bonus payment to the brigade personnel.

The First Deputy Commander of the Land Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General, Viacheslav Nazarkin, Commander of the “North” Operations Command, Lieutenant-General, Volodymyr Kravchenko, Commander of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade, Colonel Mykhailo Drapatyi, Authority representatives handed over the ministerial awards to the solders.

The city dwellers saluted met their defenders in the central square with flags, flowers and with cheers.
